Amending or Deleting Leave Requests

Once you have created a leave request you cannot edit the dates on the request.

If you need to make changes to a leave request, e.g. you want to change the dates on it, then the approach is to delete the request and then create a new one containing the correct dates.

Leave requests can be deleted by an employee or their manager providing that the date of when the leave is due to start is in the future. e.g. Today is January 10th. You have a leave request approved that starts on January 20th. You can delete this request any time up to January 19th.

If the first date on the leave request is in the past or is today then only an administrator can delete the request.

Viewing Requests

To navigate to leave requests:

  • Navigating to My Leave. If you are a manager select the employee via the My Team page. If you are an administrator, select the employee via the Employees page.
  • Select the correct Leave Cycle - typially it defaults to the current cycle based on today's calendar date.
  • Identify the Policy and click Details
  • Identify the individual leave request and click View Details
